Kevin yelled from the other room-”Nicholas!”
Nick-”Cassy is bothering me and I need to practice!”
Kevin-”Nick, don’t yell at your sister. Cassy, leave Nick alone.”

Nick was being so mean to me today! All I wanted to do was listen to his music! He was going to sing at Mommas funeral today, but he didn’t need to practice, he did it perfect. He just wanted to be alone, and as far as he knew, he was, until I had to sneze and he caught me listening.

I stomped around with mad tears in my eyes, and went into a room I didn’t recognize. It had to be Mommas and Daddys old room because it was the master bedroom.

Cassy-”Momma, Nicks being a meanie!”

It might seem crazy but I felt better almost instantly and I stopped crying the mad tears. I wondered around Mommas room and went into her old closet. At the back of the huge closet there were boxes stacked against the wall. I noticed that one of the boxes had mine and Caddys names on it so I opened it up. Inside there were baby clothes and toys a few pictures and home movies. There were also two teddy bears that I could almost remember.

Cassy-(Caddy, come here.)
Caddy-(Why? Where are you?)
Cassy-(I found some things that used to be ours. I’m in Mommas old room, across from where were sleeping.)

She was at the door in a minute.

Cassy-(In the closet.)

She came in and I showed her the bears.

Cassy-(Do you remember these?)
Caddy-(Yes! Momma gave them to us-)
Cassy-(for our birthday when we turned two! I remember now!)

Kevin yelled from someplace upstairs-” Time to get ready, everyone. We have to leave in half an hour.”

We picked up our teddy bears and crossed the hall to our room. Kevin had layed out black dresses for us on the bed, they were exactly the same. We got ready and fixed eachothers hair. We were both wearing it in black headbands, exactly the same. We decided to show Kevin why we didn’t like to dress exactly the same and he would likely never do that to us again.
