Τίτλος : “Σύγχρονες εξελίξεις στις εφαρμογές της Πληροφορικής την Υγεία”

Πληροφορικής, Ιατρική Σχολή, ΑΠΘ

Περίληψη ομιλίας

Στην ομιλία αυτή θα γίνει αναφορά στους τρεις άξονες της ιατρικής
πληροφορικής, δηλαδή, την κλινική έρευνα, τις υπηρεσίες υγείας και την
ιατρική εκπαίδευση. Πιο συγκεκριμένα θα περιγραφούν νέες εξελίξεις που
σχετίζονται με την εφαρμοσμένη ιατρική πληροφορική και τις τεχνολογίας των
επικοινωνιών, των εφαρμοσμένων νευρο-επιστημών με ιδιαίτερη έμφαση στην
επεξεργασία και απεικόνιση νευροφυσιολογικών δεδομένων και τη μελέτη του
ανθρώπινου συναισθήματος, μέσα από παραδείγματα του χώρου του φακέλου υγείας
και των πληροφορικών συστημάτων υγείας, της συναισθηματικής υπολογιστικής,
της υποστήριξης της φροντίδας ηλικιωμένων ατόμων αλλά και της εκπαίδευσης
ατόμων με αυτισμό. Τέλος, θα δοθεί έμφαση στις τεχνολογίες συνεργατικού
διαδικτύου στην ιατρική εκπαίδευση, την προτυποποίηση και ανταλλαγή ιατρικού
εκπαιδευτικού υλικού και τέλος την διασύνδεση των επιστημών ζωής με την
έρευνα του διαστήματος.

Ο Παναγιώτης Δ. Μπαμίδης, είναι Επίκ. Καθηγητής στο Εργαστήριο Ιατρικής
Πληροφορικής της Ιατρικής Σχολής του Α.Π.Θ. και μέλος του Γραφείου Ιατρικής
Εκπαίδευσης της Ιατρικής. Τα ερευνητικά του ενδιαφέροντα βρίσκονται στη
διασύνδεση ανθρώπου-μηχανής και τη μελέτη του συναισθήματος μέσα από την
εφαρμοσμένη νευροεπιστήμη, όπως και στην ανάλυση βιο-σημάτων και ανάπτυξη
βιο-αισθητήρων, στη διαχείριση της ιατρικής πληροφορίας και την
οργάνωση/διασύνδεση των υπηρεσιών υγείας, στην υποστήριξη και εκπαίδευση
ευπαθών κοινωνικών ομάδων (ηλικιωμένοι, άτομα με αυτισμό), τις εφαρμογές της
ιατρικής πληροφορικής, της εκπαιδευτικής τεχνολογίας και των τεχνολογιών
διαδικτύου στην ιατρική εκπαίδευση, αλλά και τη διαστημική ιατρική. Το
Νοέμβριο του 2009 τιμήθηκε με το Βραβείο Αριστείας του Α.Π.Θ, για την
ερευνητική του δραστηριότητα ως μέλος ΔΕΠ-νέος ερευνητής σε χρηματοδοτούμενα
έργα.
